In your initial assessment your Fixologist will ask you about your medical history and other relevant information, and perform relevant physiotherapy tests specific to you, to assess the way you move. They will explain their findings and discuss a treatment plan. Usually there is also time to start treatment.
Depending on what we find in the initial assessment, follow up appointments will likely be booked to treat and rehabilitate.
A baseline postnatal check-up to flag common conditions or things that can be improved to optimise recovery. We’ll take your medical history and birth details, and assess your pelvic floor, tummy, alignment, movement and breathing.
We’ll assess the performance and function of your pelvic floor, likely including your whole body functional movement and breathing mechanics, strength and endurance, pelvic floor contraction speed and its ability to lenghten and ‘let go’.

We’ll assess for any alignment or movement dysfunctions and areas of restriction or weakness, then treat them and give you appropriate exercises to optimise movement and avoid injuries.
