YOUR PHYSIO APPOINTMENT IN LEEDS
What to expect
1. Before your visit
You will receive an email confirmation from us containing key information for your visit to our Leeds Physio clinic, such as what to wear and where to go. Before your initial visit, please make sure you complete your ‘new patient’ forms. We’ll send you a link to these and you can complete them online.
2. When you arrive
Make your way round to the back door of Margaret House and press the intercom labelled ‘Fixology’. Once we’ve buzzed you in, come up to the first floor where our Fixology clinic rooms and larger classes space are located immediately on the right.
3. Your appointment
In the first appointment a thorough history of why you've come to see us and other relevant information will be taken. Your Physiotherapist will do a comprehensive physical assessment.
You may be asked to remove your top and wear shorts, leggings or soft bottoms so your Physiotherapist can accurately assess what your body is doing.
4. Aftercare & appointments
If the history and assessment is complex there may occasionally not be time for treatment but your Leeds Physiotherapist will have a clear 'picture' of what is happening and how they can treat you in the future. They will discuss an ongoing treatment plan with you, and you’ll be able to book follow-up sessions with your Physiotherapist or online.
YOUR CLASS What to expect
1. Before your visit
You will receive an email confirmation from us containing key information for your visit, such as what to wear and where to go. Before your initial visit, please make sure you complete your ‘pre-class screening’. We’ll send you a link to this and you can complete it online.
2. When you arrive
Make your way round to the back door of Margaret House in Roundhay, Leeds and press the intercom labelled ‘Fixology’. Once we’ve buzzed you in, come up to the first floor where our Fixology Physio rooms and larger classes space are located immediately on the right. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time.
3. Your class
Make sure you wear something you feel comfortable in, that you can freely move around in. Please let your instructor know if you have any injuries or restrictions to your ability to exercise. Your instructor will let you know what equipment to get ready in the room and guide you through your class.

FAQs
-
A Mummy MOT is a baseline assessment of common post natal conditions. This is a great starting point but doesn’t include treatment. If there is a specific problem you want assessing and treating you may prefer to book a Physiotherapy initial appointment.
-
At your Physiotherapy initial assessment we take a history and do a thorough assessment. Most of the time we start treatment as well. Occasionally, if your history is complex and there is a lot to assess we may need to start treatment at your follow up appointment. It’s important we take a full history and do a thorough assessment to treat effectively.
-
Yes of course. You can email your medical notes, scans or other information to info@wearefixology.co.uk. We upload these securely onto our system for future reference.
-
Please do NOT attend the Fixology Hub with cold or flu symptoms. Our team will do the same. We want to respect each other and not spread any virus.
-
All standard appointments are 45 minutes. If you’re travelling a long distance we advised you book two appointments together (1.5 hours) so that we can assess and treat more per visit, making the most of your time.
Some classes, talks and appointments are longer, see our prices page for info.
-
